Program Overview
A 3-month, full-time, in-person program designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical accounting skills. Participants gain hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online & Sage, learning the full accounting cycle—from system setup and transaction recording to the preparation of financial statements.
Through real-life simulations, software fluency, and professional coaching, we equip early-career accountants to thrive in modern finance roles.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the ScaleEdge Accountants Lab, applicants must meet the following criteria:
What You’ll Learn
- Complete accounting cycle using QuickBooks Online (setup → entries → financials).
- Core accounting principles & OHADA/IFRS standards.
- Introductory training on Xero and Sage.
- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for finance professionals.
- Internal controls, financial reporting, and basic analysis.
- Career readiness: grooming, communication, CVs, and interviews.
Program Format
- Duration: 3 Months (Full-Time Cohort).
- Delivery: In-person, instructor-led, hands-on.
- Resources Provided: Laptop, software access (QBO, Xero, Sage), manuals, internet.
Who Can Apply
- Graduates (Degree /HND/Advance Level) in accounting, business, economics, or related fields.
